Hello, I want to make a custom template that displays a particular category of posts, like the one on the WP Codex linked to here, under the heading "a page of posts"

I have tried editing the code on the codex to work with WP framework, but cannot get it to work correctly (this does work under Kubrick). I have searched the web, but cannot find the correct way to do this. Can anyone link to an example? Thanks
